The X-Design series is a unique group of OLFA products that was launched in 2004.

The impulse to start working on new tools was the desire to increase work comfort and safety by modernizing the anti-slip properties of the handles. The "X" in the title is the shape of the rubber insert, which allows for maximizing the anti-slip effect. After many attempts to improve both the shape and material of the handle, the intended goal was achieved. The first tools from the X-Design series was out in the open - they were the Hyper L and Hyper AL models.

In the following years, OLFA introduced further models of the new series, which were extremely popular among everyone who knew the quality of Japanese tools.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the series, a special website was created describing its history, as well as a special holster that makes it easier to keep the knife safely within reach while working - more about it HERE.
