On September 8-11, two PICTORIAL QUILT courses were held in Krakow, led by Mrs. Joanna Soloch. The organizer of the workshop was the Polish Patchwork Association and it was held in the studio "Sztuka Łączenia" of Mrs. Anna Twardowska.
"Pictorial Quilt" is a technique whose leading representative is Danny Amazonas. The artist, through appropriately prepared fragments of colorful textiles arranged on a flat surface , creates images almost resembling photographs.
The participants of the course had the opportunity to learn the art of "pictorial quilt" from Joanna, who gained her knowledge from the Master himself in Spain. She has been perfecting her skills for several years and is now able to conduct workshops of this art in Poland and abroad.
