The annual DIY fair was held on August 25-27 this year at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Tokyo. The theme of this year's fair was "A home center you can always rely on - color your life with a new DIY".

As in previous years, the fair gathered exhibitors related to the broadly understood "Do It Yourself" of home tinkering, i.e. the manufacturing industry, wholesale and retail, and the one related to everyday life items. Through the theme of the fair, the organizers wanted to draw attention to the increased awareness and demand of consumers for home DIY due to natural disasters and the pandemic, and thus often the need to make everyday items on their own. During the fair, recipients from among 327 exhibitors had the opportunity to delve into DIY techniques, products and methods that they could adjust to their tastes and preferences. The fair was visited by 20,447 people this year.

OLFA also presented its stand, focusing mainly on the presentation of the new BTC-1/DX knife/scraper with a head for variable blade angle setting. The tool is ideal for cutting leather or cleaning hard-to-reach surfaces. The knife will be also soon available for sale in Poland.
